Oral Presentations

A presentation slot is 15 minutes, divided into a 12 minutes presentation and 3 minutes discussion. The schedule for the oral presentations can be found in the program.

For preparing your slides, please note that the projector supports both the 4:3 and 16:9 format.

Poster Presentations

The poster size should be in the A0 format (1189 mm high x 841 mm wide) in portrait orientation. The poster stands will be numbered, please place your poster at the stand corresponding to the poster number in the conference guide and please do not remove the number from the stand as this number will be used for the poster award.

Submission

The submission deadline is June 16, after which you will be notified after August 1st whether or not your abstract is accepted. For the proceedings of the MFHS 2014 a full four page abstract is required, this has to be submitted according to the template before September 15th 2014, when your contribution has been accepted by the program committee.

Please make sure that the organization is filled out as in the following format:

IMTEK, University of Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany

as the organization will be used for the affiliation in the proceedings.

PUBLICATION

Selected papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of Micromachines after the standard journal reviewing process.
